ELKHART — One person was injured in a three-car crash at the intersection of C.R. 17 and C.R. 14 just after noon on Sunday.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department, Lyle Pegg, 85, of Bristol, was driving south on C.R. 17 and began to turn left onto C.R. 14. Pegg’s vehicle was then hit by a car driven by Frederick Michael, 63, of Milford, who was driving north on C.R. 17.

The third car, driven by Tristen Stahl, 17, of Bristol, was stopped facing west at the traffic light on C.R. 14. After the initial collision, Pegg’s car slid into the front of Stahl’s vehicle.
