ELKHART — Sharon (Gunn) and James Taylor celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in September.

They were married on Sept. 19, 1987, at First Church of the Nazarene in Elkhart.

They have a trip planned to New York City in the spring of 2013 to celebrate.

Mr. Taylor is an assembler for Kent Co. in Elkhart and Mrs. Taylor is a home health aide for Elkhart General Hospital. They go on mission trips twice a year in Sun Valley, Ariz.

Their children are Richard (Chessa) Brewton of Elkhart, David (Heidi) Brewton of Orlando, Fla., Scott (Laurie) Brewton of Appleton, Wis., the late Charley Ray Taylor, James II (Marlene) Taylor of Flowery Brand, Ga., Rhonda (David) Puntney of Elkhart and Michael S. (Carmen) Taylor of Elkhart.

Their grandchildren are Drew, Brandon, Connor, Alexis, Ava, Samuel, Spencer, Lillian and the late Haley Rose Brewton, Kristi Philpot, Kati Swalwell, David Puntney II, Joseph and Shane Taylor and Brandi Kucenski.

They also have nine great-grandchildren with two on the way and two great-stepgrandchildren.
