GOSHEN — Police have ended an investigation of a man who was found dead this morning, Nov. 2, inside a home in the 900 block of South Seventh Street.

Police concluded that the man had died from a self-inflicted gunshot. Elkhart County dispatchers got a call at 9 a.m. from a person, calling from a cellular phone, who said the 60-year-old man was unconscious and not breathing, according to Egbert Dijkstra, head of the county’s dispatch center.

Police will not release further information.
