Performance times set for state marching band finals
Fairfield and NorthWood will compete amonst the top 10 class C bands in Indiana, while Northridge, Goshen and Concord are in the top 10 class B bands. Penn is in the class A competition.
The six local bands heading to state had to advance through district, regional and last Saturday’s semistate competition to compete at the state finals.
Tickets to the event are $20 for adults and $18 for students and pre-schoolers. Tickets are valid for the whole day, according to Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA). Programs will be available for purchase at $4 apiece.
Gates will open at Lucas Oil Stadium, 500 S. Capitol Ave., Indianapolis, at 9 a.m., with performances starting at 10 a.m., according to ISSMA. Public parking is available throughout the downtown Indianapolis area, within walking distance of the stadium. Some parking will also be available in the Lucas Oil Parking Lot via gate 6 on Capitol Avenue.

10:13 a.m. — Fairfield
11:31 a.m. — NorthWood
12:10 p.m. — Class C results
CLASS B
1:28 p.m. — Northridge
1:54 p.m. — Goshen
2:46 p.m. — Concord
3:20 p.m. — Class B results
CLASS A
8:45 p.m. — Penn
9:50 p.m. — Class A results
