Republican Jackie Walorski reported $84,968 in contributions between Oct. 1 and Oct. 17 and had $220,944 left in her war chest as of Oct. 17, her campaign said in a finance report due Thursday.
Democrat Brendan Mullen reported $69,087 in contributions in the 17-day period and had $138,298 left to spend as of Oct. 17, he said in his report to the Federal Election Commission. He reported receiving an additional $14,000 in contributions on Wednesday in a separate filing, required for individual contributions of more than $1,000.
The reports due Thursday come on top of reports that were due Oct. 15 for the July 1 through Sept. 30 period.
Walorski still leads in overall fundraising and spending. Through Oct. 17 she had raised a total this election cycle of $1,630,285 and spent $1,563,906, including $261,458 in the Oct. 1 to Oct. 17 period.
Mullen had raised a total of $1,146,160 through Oct. 17 and spent $1,007,849, including $156,556 Oct. 1 to Oct. 17.
