ELKHART — Mark Van Steenwyk, co-founder of the Mennonite Worker community in Minneapolis, will speak at 7 p.m. Nov. 8 at Hively Avenue Mennonite Church, 800 E. Hively Ave.

The topic of Van Steenwyk’s talk is “The Politics of Jesus 2.0: How Do We Embody the Politics and Economics of Jesus as Citizens in an Empire?”

Van Steenwyk is an author and contributor to several books, including “That Holy Anarchist” and “unKingdom of God,” which will be released in late 2013.
