ELKHART — Heather Herring and Cole Burns were married on May 27, 2012, by Pastor Daryl Bolnuis at the Lerner Theatre in Elkhart.

The bride’s parents are Randy and Linda Herring of Elkhart. The groom’s parents are Dave and Lisa Burns of Elkhart.

Amber Miller of Indianapolis was maid of honor. Danielle English of Evansville and Jacquelyn English of Valparaiso, cousins of the bride, were bridesmaids. Emma Young and Riley Poole, both cousins of the groom of Elkhart, were flower girls.

Jeremy Burns, brother of the groom of Elkhart, was best man. Brad Clark of Fort Wayne and John Martin of Elkhart were groomsmen. Ethan Martin, son of one of the groomsmen of Elkhart, was ring bearer.

Ryan Herring, brother of the bride of Elkhart, and Shawn Swartz of Elkhart were the ushers.

The reception was immediately after the ceremony at the Lerner Theatre. The couple then went on their honeymoon in Las Vegas. They reside together in Elkhart.

The groom had tried to date the bride for 14 years and finally she said yes.
