GOSHEN — Candidates for Elkhart County Council will be at a public forum this evening, Oct. 16, in Goshen.

The Goshen Chamber of Commerce has invited the five candidates to a forum at 6:30 p.m. today, Oct. 16, at the Chamber building, 232 S. Main St.

There are three seats up for grabs on the county council. The candidates include Republican incumbents John Letherman and David Ashe. Letherman is seeking his seventh term on the council, and Ashe is running for his second four-year term in office. Also seeking seats on the council are challengers Republican Tom Stump and Democrats Mike Settles and Ralph Spelbring.

Election Day is Nov. 6.
