SOUTH BEND — Quarterback Nick Faus threw for 298 yards and three touchdowns Friday night as Central defeated South Bend Clay 31-21 in a Northern Indiana Conference showdown.

Faus tossed a pair of first-half touchdown passes to Spencer Schnell before completing a 75-yard scoring pass to his brother, Blake, to push the Blue Blazers lead to 10.
