A group of community members who collected food and funds for Church Community Services earlier this fall is now planning another event for later this month.

A trivia contest at 7 p.m. Oct. 27 will raise money for the local agency. The event will be at Sports Time Family Pub & Grill in Elkhart.

Teams can include up to 10 people, with each person paying $10 to participate. Winners will earn cash prizes.

Susan Chilberg of Elkhart helped organize community members and businesses to collect food for Church Community Services around Labor Day. Collections from across Elkhart and St. Joseph counties brought in more than 2,200 lbs. of food and more than $1,800, Chilberg said.
