Goshen Health Center hires new nurse practitioner
Carolin Marzouk moved with her husband and two children from New Jersey to Indiana.
She was born and raised in Egypt. She moved to the U.S. when she was 11 years old. She completed her undergraduate degree at Virginia Commonwealth University and earned her graduate degree from Emory University.
As a nurse practitioner, Marzouk is able to diagnose diseases, provide treatment and prescribe medications. She will serve as the primary health care provider for her patients, according to a press release from the Maple City Health Care Center.
“Our center serves a number of people whose roots are in the Middle East,” said James Nelson Gingerich, the center’s director. “Carolin Marzouk will be able to care for these people without needing an interpreter.”
