DAYTON, Ohio — Danny Boussom of Goshen swept to both the singles and doubles titles in the USTA Midwest Level 5 tennis tournament for boys 16 and under over the weekend.

The 14-year-old Boussom defeated JJ Wolf of Cincinnati 6-0, 6-4 in the singles final and teamed with Wolf for the doubles crown.

In a field of 36, Boussom won all five of his singles matches in straight sets. The fourth-seeded Boussom downed top seed Andrew Ong of Copley, Ohio, 6-3, 6-3 in the semifinals.

In doubles, using eight-game pro sets, Boussom and Wolf won each their three matches by at least 8-3 scores.

Boussom is now 70-17 on the year in singles with six titles and 14-2 in doubles with three titles.
