MIDDLEBURY — Ingrid Hess, author and illustrator of the recently released book “An Amish Alphabet,” will be at Das Dutchman Essenhaus from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 to sign autographs, answer questions and talk about her experiences.

Hess also authored and illustrated “Sleep in Peace,” which was the 2008 Rodda Book Award winner, and “Walk in Peace.” She lives in Rochester, New York, where is an illustrator, graphic designer and graphic design professor.
