ELKHART — The South Central Improvement Coalition is celebrating its neighborhood Quality of Life Plan from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Historical Roosevelt Center, 215 East Indiana Avenue.

The plan focuses on housing and safety, family strengthening, community spaces and economic development, amongst other areas. It is the result of the South Central neighborhoods getting involved with a Comprehensive Community Development process supported by LaCasa, Inc. and funded by the JP Morgan Chase Foundation.

The plan was developed over the past two years. The public is welcome to join in the celebration of this work as the neighborhood works toward the future.
