The free family caregiver workshop “Alzheimer’s Disease or Other Dementias” will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays in October at Home Instead Senior Care, 3025 N. Grape Rd.

Participants will learn about the causes of Alzheimer’s or other dementias, understand more about behaviors that can be caused by the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and discover techniques to help handle behaviors and encourage loved ones to share stories and memories.
