ELKHART — Republican U.S. House hopeful Jackie Walorski raised more than $415,000 in donations in the third quarter of the year, bringing her total haul for the campaign to around $1.5 million, she said in a press release Monday.

More than 87 percent of Walorski’s donations have come from within Indiana, she said. “The people of the 2nd District have made it clear that they want to send an independent voice to Congress to rightfully represent Hoosier common sense values, and that’s exactly what I’ll do in Washington,D.C.,” she said.

Donations for the July-through-September period actually aren’t due to the Federal Election Commission until Monday.
