When: Monday evening

Major action: The board approved the 2013 budget.

Other action:

The board:

• heard a report on a summer camp program that works to develop leadership skills in students entering third-, fourth- and fifth-grade.

• heard from Superintendent Diane Woodworth that Goshen Community Schools’ enrollment is again up, making classroom space tight.

• discussed a resolution to sell a parcel of land to the city of Goshen to be used for the Monroe Street Trail. The resolution will likely come up for approval at the next school board meeting, Oct. 22.
