Senior Meredith Hollar scored twice Saturday evening to lead Warsaw to a tough 2-1 victory over NorthWood in the Class 2A Warsaw Sectional title game.

The Tigers led 2-0 when NorthWood’s Val Ostrowski scored in the 75th minute to cut the lead to one. However, the Panthers were unable to come up with a tying goal in the final five minutes.

Warsaw advances to play Penn in semifinals of the Goshen Regional. The Kingsmen advanced with a 3-0 victory over Adams at the South Bend Regional.

Westview will play Marian in a one-game regional next Saturday in 1A, after both teams advanced with easy 7-0 victories.

Gabbie Veldman had four goals in the Knighs win over Glenn, while Riley Hochstetler had three for the Warriors in their win over West Noble.
