GOSHEN — Harold L. Weaver, 96, of Goshen, died at 1:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, in his residence.

He was born Sept. 16, 1916, in Nappanee, to Christian W. and Eliza (Ressler) Weaver.

He married Magdalena (Martin) Weaver on June 1, 1941. She died Oct. 25, 2005.

Surviving are daughters, Edith (Elmer) Miller of Chouteau, Okla., Ruth (Clarence) Horst of Goshen and Lucy E. Weaver and Elsie E. Weaver, both of Wakarusa; sons David C. (Janice) Weaver of Unity, Wis., James A. (Linda) Weaver of Traverse City, Mich., and Glenn M. Weaver of Goshen; 23 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Magdalena; son John H. Weaver; daughter Esther N. Yothers; sisters Ruth and Susanna Weaver; and brothers Harvey, Joseph and Paul Weaver.

Harold was a retired farmer and a past employee for Hoover Lumber for 40 years.

He was a member of Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 7, 2012, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa. A family prayer service will be at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at the funeral home. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church. Home Ministry will officiate.

Burial will be in Yellow Creek Frame Cemetery.
