Basketball

Concord Developmental Boys League: The instructional league for boys in grades 3-6 living in the Concord school district runs from November through February on Saturdays at Concord Junior High School and is led by Concord High School head coach Steve Austin, his staff and players. Registration is 7 p.m. on Oct. 18 at the Concord High Activity Center. Registration deadline is Oct. 26. Cost is $40 per boy ($25 for brothers). ESC fall youth leagues: The Elkhart Sports Center leagues offer division for boys in grades 3-6 and girls in grades 3-8. League play begins the weekend of Nov. 3. Cost is $525 per team ($500 if signing up four or more teams from one organization) plus a $40 per hour court rental rate. Play continues through Dec. 16. Alan Stein Cutting Edge clinic at Eastlake: Renowned basketball-specific strength and training coach Alan Stein will conduct a clinic from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 13 at Eastlake Athletic Club. The clinic is open to players ages 12-18. Cost is $50 per player and $25 for coaches wanting to take notes. For more information call Eastlake at 264-0611. Eastlake Elite QB and Receiver Camp: Eastlake Athletic Club in Elkhart will host six two-hour sessions for grades 5-8 Oct. 21 and 28 and Nov. 4, 11, 18 and 25. Volleyball

ESC adult coed league: The first session of the Elkhart Sports Center fall league gets under way Oct. 12. The league is six-on-six and teams must have at least two females on the court at a time.
