GOSHEN — Ancon Construction won awards for two projects from the Indiana chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors at the ABC Merit Shop Gala on Sept. 25 in Indianapolis.

The company’s project transforming an abandoned gymnasium into an upscale ballroom and conference center in Mishawaka now known as Riverside Terrace Ballroom won the Award of Honor in the category “Renovation — Non-Historical under $3 Million.”

Work on the Angola Dental Center won the Award of Excellence in the category “Healthcare Under $3 Million.” This project included a building addition, renovation project and site development.

Both projects were designed and completed in 2011.
