This year’s event runs from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the RV/MH Hall of Fame northeast of Elkhart, at 21565 Executive Parkway, off C.R. 17 between C.R. 6 and the Indiana Toll Road.
There’s no charge, but chamber organizers want people to bring business cards to what they bill as the premier business networking event.
“This is meant to be a great networking opportunity for people in business. Hopefully if there’s something specific you’re looking for, you’ll find it at the show,” said Denise Polachek with the chamber, coordinator of the event. “It could be for anything that applies to business, anything that you need, anything that you’re trying to promote or anything.”
The theme of the event is “Let the Challenge Games Begin,” an athletic focus on companies who “have wrestled through the recession and are charging ahead to victory,” according to the chamber’s announcement of the event.
While manufacturers will be represented, there will also be nonprofit organizations, financial firms, marketing firms, food-service companies and more.
“It is an interesting look at the diversity of the economy beyond the manufacturing companies that we all think of,” said Kyle Hannon of the chamber.
“It takes a lot of different companies to run an economy, and we’ve got it,” Hannon said.
Many of the 110-plus exhibitors will decorate their booths and wear costumes to match the theme, and the chamber will award prizes.
