ELKHART — Angela Marie (Sorensen) Borglum, 79, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at Courtyard Healthcare Center.

She was born on March 5, 1933, in Hardy, Neb., to Alfred J. and Esther (Hendricksen) Sorensen.

Angela married Gerald “Jerry” Borglum on June 2, 1954, in Ruskin, Neb.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Borglum; daughters Sherry (Mike Settles) Borglum of Elkhart, Jean (Rick Streebel) Borglum of Goshen and Sandy (Larry Neumann Jr.) Borglum of Chicago; son Eric (Ann) Borglum; and grandchildren Bryce and Kristina Borglum, both of Cincinnati. Additional survivors include her sister, Linda (Wayne) Nielsen of Surprise, Ariz. and her brother, Clifford (Jan) Sorensen of Lincoln, Neb.

Angela was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church in Elkhart. She enjoyed gardening and arts and crafts of all kinds.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, Elkhart. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, funeral service at Augustana Lutheran Church in Elkhart.

Burial will take place at a later date.
