Three injured in Bristol accident Saturday

BRISTOL — Three people were injured after a crash near the intersection of S.R. 120 and C.R. 29 Saturday afternoon.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department, Roger Hicks, 54, of Osceola, was driving east on S.R. 120 at 6:13 p.m. Saturday. He had signaled at the intersection and attempted to turn left onto C.R. 29. Jonathan Decker, 33, of Middlebury, was following Hicks’ Dodge Neon and rear-ended it.

Hicks was taken to Elkhart General Hospital complaining of back and neck pain. The Neon was also carrying three passengers, all of whom were also taken to EGH.

Julie Allouch, 57, of Osceola, was treated for back and hip pain; Sabrina Hicks, 11, of Osceola, was treated for back pain; and Rose Hicks, 3, of Osceola, was treated for neck pain.

Decker received a citation for following too closely.
