DECATUR, Mich. — Carol Ann Cogar, 64, of Decatur, passed away at 1:32 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Bronson Lakeview Hospital in Paw Paw.

She was born Feb. 20, 1947, in Paw Paw, to Ithal Stanley and Iva Mae (Baldwin) Teague.

Surviving are a daughter, Nicole (Chris) Janascheck of Lincoln Park, and a son, Thomas Hamet of Elkhart, Ind. Also surviving are five grandchildren; a sister, Jean Good of Elkhart; an aunt, Vera Parish of Decatur; numerous nieces and nephews; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James R. Teague.

Carol was a member of Victory’s Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur.

She enjoyed crocheting and doing ceramics.

Visitation will be for two hours prior to the 5 p.m. Friday, Sept.14, 2012, service at Walley Mills Zimmerman Funeral Home. Pastor Terry Cochran of 3 Cross Ministries will preside. Cremation will follow the service.

A private family burial will take place at Bly Cemetery in Marcellus at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to the church.
