ELKHART — A two-vehicle collision slowed traffic at an intersection in the city’s north side this morning, Sept. 5.

The accident happened around 9:45 a.m. when a silver SUV driving west on C.R. 6 attempted to turn south onto Jeanwood Drive, colliding with a brown pickup truck heading east on C.R. 6. Traffic moved slow but steady, with Elkhart police and emergency crew working traffic control.

Neither of the drivers were injured from the accident, said Sgt. Dan Colson of the Elkhart Police Department.
