Elkhart County Coroner John White has ruled the death of a 2-month-old boy as accidental.

White said it was determined Elia-Juwon Baker died of positional asphyxia.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department initially responded to 30969 Riverbend Circle Apt. 1 shortly after 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Baker was taken to Elkhart General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

White said a 2-year-old child was sleeping on the same bed as the 2-month-old boy but was not involved in the death.
