MADERA, Calif. — Dexter Hutch, 56, passed away Aug. 13, 2012, at his home in Madera.
He was born in Huntington, Tenn. At an early age, his family moved to Elkhart, Ind. Mr. Hutch was a 1975 Memorial High School graduate.
He was employed with Accra Pac Group Inc. and Manchester Tank, Elkhart, before relocating to Madera, in 1992.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and their reunions, whatever the occasion would be. He loved fishing, wrestling, dancing and just enjoyed life.
Mr. Dexter Hutch proudly and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Robert and Onnie L. (Browning) Hutch; sister Anna Opaline Hutch; paternal grandparents Elvis and Minnie (Carter) Hutch; and maternal grandparents Frank and Ellen (Bramley) Browning.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Maria Johnette Barham; grandson Michael Barham of Bethesda, Md.; two brothers, Lubiejean Hutch of Bremerton, Wash., and John Wesley Hutch of Madera; four sisters, Lucille Hutch-Drew of Wilmington, Del., Gwendolyn L. Hutch of Clovis (who was also his caregiver), Lurlon A. Conner and Minnie L. Hutch of Elkhart; a very special family, Ms. Pearline Sheppard and children of Elkhart; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Mr. Hutch was laid to rest with military honors in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Gustine.
