ELKHART — Registration is under way for anyone interested in participating in the annual motorcycle ride honoring police officers and firemen who have died in the line of duty.

The Ride to Remember Fallen Police and Firefighters Charity Ride is Sept. 9 and begins at 2:30 at Hoosier Harley Davidson, 720 W. Bristol St., in Elkhart.

The store is taking care of registration before and on the day of the event.

After the 70-mile escorted ride, a celebration featuring a live band is planned at Hoosier Harley Davidson.

All donations will benefit the Elkhart Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 51 and FOR programs organized by the International Association of Firefighters Local 338.
