MIDDLEBURY — The Elkhart Vette Set Corvette Club will cruise to Middlebury’s Das Dutchman Essenhaus, 240 U.S. 20, on Sept. 6 to raise money for HeartStrings Sisters, a program providing free mammograms for uninsured women.

Visitors may sit in the cars and take photos from 4:30 to 8 p.m. for a donation to HeartStrings Sisters. Event organizer and Corvette Club member Howard Curtis is a cancer survivor and several other club members have been impacted by a breast cancer diagnosis in their family.

Curtis’ 2005 national championship race car and his current race car will be on display at the event.
