ELKHART — Local police are asking residents for information that could aid them in their investigations of recent burglaries.

According to a press release from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department, there have been at least 11 known residential burglaries on Sunday mornings since July near the east county line.

Law enforcement agencies in Elkhart and LaGrange counties have combined efforts to locate a person of interest, and an investigation is ongoing.

Residents in Elkhart and LaGrange counties are asked to make a report if they were victims to a burglary recently and have not reported the incident.
