Friends and family of Kristyana Jackson will gather for a vigil at 8 p.m. tonight, Aug. 20, at her home, 720 Kilbourn St.

Barbara Lamb, Jackson’s grandmother, said the family planned to hold the vigil and friends and neighbors were invited. Lamb asked participants in the vigil to bring their own candles.

Jackson died Sunday afternoon, two days after she was shot in the head during an attempted home invasion.
