ELKHART — After a string of country legends, the Lerner Theatre is bringing in an ’80s favorite — REO Speedwagon. The classic rock band will come to Elkhart at 8 p.m. on Sept. 28.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Aug. 24. Ticket prices range from $47 to $67. There will some VIP tickets for sale for $100.
This isn’t the first time the group has come to the Elkhart County. They were one of the headliners for the Elkhart County 4-H Fair just last year.
Some of the group’s biggest hits include “Keep on Loving You”, “Roll with the Changes” and “Riding the Storm Out”. The group was formed by students from the University of Illinois-Champaign and had four top-10 singles with their 1980 album, “Hi Infidelity.”
According to the press release, they are the most popular and best-selling band to play the Lerner Theatre.
