NEW PARIS — Aurora Guevara, 63, of New Paris, passed away early Monday morning, Aug. 13, 2012, at IU Health, Goshen.

She was born May 21, 1949, to the late Manuel N. and Maria A. (Juarez) Guevara in McAllen, Texas.

She is survived by three sisters, Maria and Angela Guevara, both of New Paris, and Gracie (Adam L.) Mingucha of Goshen; two brothers, Pedro and David Guevara, both of New Paris; and a niece, Rebecca Chagoya of Elkhart.

A longtime Goshen resident, Aurora worked at Hinsdale Farms, Bristol, and Hacienda Restaurant, Goshen. She attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Goshen.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Yoder Culp Funeral Home, where a 6 p.m. rosary will be recited. A 10 a.m. funeral Mass will be at St. John’s. Father Fernando will officiate. Burial will follow in New Paris Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Yoder Culp Funeral Home to help cover funeral expenses.
