GOSHEN — Mildred L. “Mickey” Palmer, 71, of Goshen passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, in her residence.

Mickey was born May 8, 1941, in Vigo County.

She was preceded in death by her father, William H. Fagg, and mother, Betty (Sams) Hartz; son Kenneth Waits; daughter Jeannette C. Burch; and sister, Carol Carpenter.

Survivors include her children, W. Darrell Burch and Thomas Burch, both of Goshen, and Betty Patino-Waits of Elkhart; six grandchildren, Cory (Jamie) Bright, Dustin (Daphne) Waits, Brandon (Hannah Miller) Belt and Kayla, Jeanette and Crystal Burch; 10 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, John D. Fagg of Arizona, Rita Robertson of Kentucky and Bobbi Sue Reed of Jasonville.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today, Aug. 11, 2012, at Northside Baptist Church, Elkhart. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
