Police investigate shotgun wound
Gerald Harvell suffered a non-life-threatening wound to his neck, apparently caused by debris from a misfiring shotgun barrel, according to police.
Harvell required a few stitches to close the wound.
Officers learned of the wound when they were at IU Health Goshen Hospital at 3 a.m. on an unrelated matter and hospital personnel alerted them. Harvell did not give a statement because of his ongoing treatment and due to his level of intoxication, according to police.
