The Midwest RV Super Show opens today and runs through Sunday, and for the first time it’s at the RV/MH (Recreational Vehicle/Manufactured Housing) Hall of Fame at 21565 Executive Parkway.
The show runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 9, Friday and Saturday, and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Adult admission to the show is $6 for those 16 and older and free for those 15 and younger. Museum admission is $9 for adults and $6 for those ages 6 through 18, but combination passes are available at the show entrance for $10 for ages 16 and older and $2 for children 15 and younger.
The show will have about double the amount of products that were on display last year on the Civic Plaza in downtown Elkhart, said Mark Bowersox, the show’s director and executive director of the Indiana Manufactured Housing Association - Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council.
Dealers from Columbia City and Schererville will join local sellers Great Lakes RV Center, International RV Wholesalers, Total Value RV, Indiana RV Connection, Nexus RV, Showhauler Motorhome Conversions and Tiara RV Sales in the show.
It’s also the first chance to catch a glimpse at the 2013 RV models that are rolling out, said Bowersox. With the location at the hall of fame, “it’s the only place you can see the latest RVs along with some of the earliest,” Bowersox said in a written announcement about the show.
