Goshen boy treated for pellet gun injury

A 13-year-old boy was taken to the hospital around midnight Tuesday after he accidentally shot himself with a pellet gun.

Elkhart County sheriff deputies responded to Elkhart General Hospital to a report that a 13-year-old had shot himself in the foot with a pellet gun in the 1600 block of Harrison Lane, Goshen.

The boy was treated for non life-threatening injuries to his foot and was released.
