Elkhart County Community Foundation program officer announces retirement

ELKHART — Elkhart County Community Foundation program officer James “Jim” Siegmann has announced that he will retire at the end of the year.

Siegmann has been the program officer since May 2004. He has served as the foundation’s liaison to non-profit organizations and agencies that receive grants from the ECCF. His retirement will take effect Dec. 31.

He has also served as board president of United Way of Elkhart County, president of United Way of Indiana and has served in leadership roles in other nonprofit organizations.

Siegmann graduated from Goshen High School and Western Michigan University. He owned Siegmann Printing Company, Inc. in Goshen from 1968 until when the company was merged with Impressions, Inc. in Elkhart in 1990. He was the owner/president of Impressions until he sold it in 2003.

He lives in Goshen with his wife LaRayne. They are the parents of two grown sons.
