WARSAW — Kosciusko County police are investigating two deaths they say may be the result of a murder-suicide south of Warsaw.

Officers arrived at a mobile home at 2789 S. Country Club Road around 7:30 a.m. today, Aug. 7, after receiving a call from a concerned neighbor requesting that police check on the welfare of the couple, according to a press release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department.

Officers found a 47-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman deceased with gunshot wounds, according to police. Police said the man and the woman were married, and a “lengthy” suicide note from the couple was found at the scene.

Kosciusko County Coroner John Sadler said preliminary evidence indicates a murder-suicide, but autopsies are scheduled for both.
