Accident injures four Saturday near Elkhart

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department, Trevor Edgell was northbound on C.R. 7 near C.R. 6 when he lost control of the Ford Ranger and hit a tree. The accident happened about 5:24 p.m. Saturday, according to police.
Edgell, 17, of Elkhart, was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of leg pain.
Another passenger, Benjamin Fletcher, 21, of Elkhart, was taken to EGH for leg pain.
Two other passengers were transported to Memorial Hospital.
Mitchell Wood, 17, of Elkhart, had a broken femur.
Ezra Henrickson, 18, had feet pain and head pain, police said.
Police said enforcement action is pending upon further investigation.
