Five teenagers arrested

GOSHEN — Five teenagers were arrested after one or more had been taken to IU Health Goshen Hospital seeking treatment for an overdose Monday afternoon.

According to a report from the Goshen Police Department, the teens were treated for overdosing on alcohol and cold medicine. After an investigation, five teenage boys were arrested at 202 N. 9th St., Goshen. Two of the boys — one age 17, and one age 16 — were arrested for criminal trespass; and two other boys, age 17, were arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol and criminal trespass. Another 17-year-old was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol, criminal trespass and resisting arrest.

One teenager was booked at the Juvenile Detention Center and the other four were released to their parents.

There is no further information available, according to Goshen Police.
