Former Olympian Samantha Peszek (right) works with Leaps & Bounds competitive gymnast Giuliana Green, 6, on her balance beam technique during the Olympia Gymnastics Camp in Valparaiso. Green was one of 11 "Olympic hopefuls" from the Elkhart-based team to particpate with former Olympains Peszek, Svetlana Boguinskaia and Dominique Mocenau.


Eleven girls commited to Lakeshore Gymnastics in Valparaiso to work with Olympia Gymnastics Camp director Svetlana Boguinskaia (1988, 1992, 1996) as well as Dominique Moceanu (1996) and Samantha Peszek (2008).
The campers received instruction on the uneven bars, balance beam, vault, tumbling, trampoline, dance and leaps and jumps to help improve their gymnastics foundation and excel in their competitive gymnastics goals.
