Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante and his wife, Sandra Voss-Benante, were arrested Friday afternoon on a preliminary charge of domestic battery in front of a child.

Benante, 49, and Voss-Benante, 41, from Long Grove, Ill, were booked at the Elkhart County Jail Friday evening and released Saturday on a $3,000 bond each, according to the Elkhart County Jail search database.
