Sept. 17, 1952 - July 19, 2012

ELKHART — Gerald A. Watkins, 59, of Elkhart, passed away at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, at his home.

He was born Sept. 17, 1952, in Muncie to Gerald E. and Clamie P. (White) Watkins.

Surviving are a brother, Terry Lee Watkins, and a sister, Debra J. (Rodger) Strong, both of Orland. Also surviving are a nephew, Michael D. Strong, of Orland; three nieces, Christie (Kyle) Neal of Veedersburg, Ashley Watkins and Amy Watkins both of Muncie; and one great-nephew, Carson Neal of Veedersburg.

Gerald graduated in 1971 from Wapahani High School in Selma.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service was held at Beech Grove Cemetery in Muncie. Elkhart Cremation Service was entrusted with arrangements.
