Shooting in Elkhart injures one Tuesday night

ELKHART — Police are investigating the shooting of a 26-year-old man Tuesday night.

Police responded to 1614 S. Sixth St. around 11:15 p.m. and found the man suffering from a non-life-threatening injury, according to a press release from the Elkhart Police Department. He was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment.
