ELKHART — The intersection of Main and Dale streets is closed while NIPSCO workers repair a low pressure gas main.

Detours are in place. Northbound traffic is directed to Indiana Avenue to Prairie Street. Southbound traffic is directed to Prairie Street to Indiana Avenue.

The road was closed Wednesday and is expected to reopen on Friday, according to a press release from the city of Elkhart.
