Edwardsburg wins two titles, Goshen one

Caden Goggins and Ryan Prabreza collected three hits apiece Monday to help Edwardsburg edge Osolo 8-6 in the District 14 Little League All-Stars 10-11 baseball championship.

Next up for Edwardsburg is the 10-11 state tournament starting July 21 at Franklin Township.

A pair of district champions were crowned Sunday in major baseball and 13-year-old baseball.

Joey Peebles homered, double and singled as Goshen beat Edwardsburg 8-5 for the major baseball title. Goshen moves on to play in the state tournament at Osolo. That event is scheduled for July 22-26.

Adam Kozinski collected three hits as Edwardsburg topped Goshen 9-3 to win the 13-year-old baseball district crown and move on to the sectional at Goshen July 20-22.
