Aug. 28, 1931 - July 13, 2012

NOBLESVILLE — John Thomas Aquino, 80, of Noblesville, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012.

He was born Aug. 28, 1931 to G.T. and Anna Aquino in Chicago.

John was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of Elkhart Elks Ritual Team. He was also an avid golfer.

In 1996, after 40 years as a meteorologist at Murray & Trettel in Chicago, he retired in Elkhart.

John is survived by his wife, Bonnie Grant Aquino; sons John (Kathy) Aquino and Gerald (Gwen) Aquino; stepsons Matthew (Andrea) Grant and Adam (Stacie) Grant; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
