Three Goshen men found with 700 pounds of marijuana

Three Goshen men were arrested Wednesday night after they were found in possession of nearly 700 pounds of marijuana at Lake Township, Ohio.
Klaus Grose, 32, of 109 Hacket Road; Timothy Kierpiec, 53, of 1613 West Ave., and Ricardo Macias-Azpeitia, 32, of 198 Roxbury Parkway, are booked in the Wood County Jail, Bowling Green, Ohio, each on a $75,000 bond.
Lake Township police received a tip from an anonymous source on suspicious activity happening near a Super 8 Motel on 3511 Latcha Road, said Jeanna Rogacki, office manager for the Lake Township Police.
Police approached the men, performed a search and found 27 bundles of marijuana, weighing a total of 686 pounds. The reported street value was $850,000.
She said two vehicles were involved in the search, a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer and a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. Police found the bundles of marijuana in one of the vehicles, but the report did not specify in which one, Rogacki said.
The three men are charged with possession of drugs, a second-degree felony, and could be facing additional charges, Rogacki said.
